About 'bible college courses'|Where Have All The Bible Colleges Gone
If you are looking for some unbiased help on how to find a good online Bible and Christian college among the ranks of Google listings under this subject-title, then you've found the right article. I am not here to promote my personal religious status, or any one Bible and Christian college like some others; I'm just here to offer information help. There are many different reasons that people enjoy using online educational sources over those of a traditional college setting; some enjoy the flexibility, others enjoy working from abstract locations, and a few truly enjoy the challenge of online lessons that are constantly replete with more time and work involved due to the nature of their internet compatibility structuring. Online Bible and Christian college offerings are a specialty field that includes courses that some general study colleges do not offer. The first thing that you need to understand about online Bible and Christian colleges is that they are run by three different kinds of establishments: real colleges, well meaning people, and money grabbers. All three kinds of establishments fill a need; it is up to you to decide what your personal needs are. Look at the address line on your list of Google Bible and Christian college choices; the schools that end in the domain status .edu are proudly announcing that they are real accredited colleges who are capable of issuing a degree. The .edu internet protocol is only given to those who are proper educational institutions. While you can still find accredited schools choosing not to display this optional ID, most choose to show it off with pride. Accredited online Bible and Christian colleges are the schools that you go to for the purpose of earning degrees and certifications within your area of study. You may also take classes there for the purpose of learning or enjoyment. Accredited online Bible and Christian colleges have staff available free of charge to discuss your educational desires, needs, and course planning prior to enrollment. Examples of different formats in online Bible and Christian colleges include: CoastlandUniversity is a very small accredited online Bible and Christian college from Southern California. This is a non-denominational Christian college catering to students from differing church experiences. Bachelor Degrees are offered for a fee of 50.00 per credit hour. Financial aide is available. The staff listed on their site is a small number of people, who promise to interact personally with all online students. This college allows you to monitor classes (sit-in for no credits) for 50.00 a class. The downside to Coastland University is that their Web page is not big and fancy like the larger schools and you have to hunt a little bit before finding everything that you want to look at. Online classrooms are pre-made programs that work wonderfully; the web site has nothing to do with how the classroom works. If you are looking for a small group of people to work with, this online Bible and Christian college is worth taking a look at. You can reach this online Bible and Christian college by phone to ask questions at: 949-444-0321. Click here to visit this online Bible and Christian college choice. BaptistBibleCollege is an old established offline college that has many degrees available at AA, BS, and on into Pastoral Doctorate programs. Accordingly, there are also many specialized areas of study available within the Bible and Christian school themes in secretarial areas, teaching, youth, worship, and ministries. Fees vary, and run about 500.00 per credit hour with financial aide available. This large Bible and Christian online school mentions in passing that they have online classes on their web site, but I could not seem to find any place to explore the system. To reach Baptist Bible College by phone: 1-800-451-7664, or Click here to visit this large online Bible and Christian college choice. Regent University is set up like a typical online college with 'Blackboard' brand classrooms that allow you to go in and see how an online classroom works prior to enrolling for classes. If you would like to see how one of these classrooms works, click into the Regent frequently asked questions, and look under the classroom question for a link. What you will not find on the Regent site is their fees, which often means that the site with missing fees is higher than other comparable online sites with fees showing. Regent Bible and Christian college has accredited degree programs for 7 different fields with religious orientation, that all look interesting, but give no details about the degree level that you are studying for. If you would like more information you must fill out their online form. Click here to visit this kind of an accredited online Bible and Christian college. Crossroads Christian Bible College is running a .org 'organization' address indicating that it is based out of a church group, accredited, and possibly with some extra faith learning options that are non-accredited classes. Their site is very easy to use, set up nicely, and seems to be in line with prices for other online Bible and Christian colleges at 25.00 per credit hour plus applicable student fees and books. Degree programs are available from AA (Associate Bible Studies) through Masters and Doctorates. The Crossroads staff appears to be at least 15 people with their lengthy biographies and qualifications online for viewing. The actual listing of class offerings is available by request. This site also has paid services to provide ministers with ordination tests, wall certificates, life skills credits, and other various religious oriented studies beyond normal degree work. This Bible and Christian college is accredited in an interesting way; they sell a brand of accreditation that they made up to other Christian colleges who would like to claim accreditation without having to go through traditional academically stringent tests to achieve it. They then reason-out why they have their own way of doing things as a separation of church and state issue; they don't want to be accredited from their government in Arkansas or Federal authorities. This Freedom Bible College becomes further interesting in the fact that you can earn degrees while other colleges will not recognize your earned credits because of the accreditation issues; but, if you aren't picky about technicalities, this might be the college that you've been looking for. They write some of their own textbooks, they will lease you a branch of this online college that you can run like your own, and there's always the option of collecting those entertaining degree-shaped wall hangings from advertised fast classes. The degree programs at Freedom Bible College run about 2,000 for all 39 credit hours worth of classes per each degree, plus fees, books, donations, and... more. They have a loose-looking payment plan where no credit checks are made, and you must send over 100.00 per month. They will give discounts for various reasons that all seemed to indicate that more or less their prices are negotiable. Staff claims to have degrees; who they got them from is not listed on this site. The spelling errors on this college site bother me. Freedom online Bible and Christian college is not "me" but, it is a good representative of the many non-accredited Bible and Christian colleges that you can find easily online if you need them. Never sign into any online Bible and Christian college without reading all of the fine print involved first; nobody likes unpleasant surprises. Click here to visit this example of an un-accredited online Bible and Christian college. How to find a good online Bible and Christian college? Talk to your church authorities. Ask your Christian friends who have degrees in Christian studies about the schools that they attended, and then track that school down. Ask that school if they have online classes. This method of searching for an online Bible and Christian school takes the guess work out of shopping online with this issue. |
